Lodging for 75
Several lodges across the property means many of your guests can stay all weekend. Enjoying the property and the celebration at a pace that truly allows you to slow down, soak in the moment, and connect.
Elevated Dining
Our culinary team prepares three meals across your weekend—rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and Sunday brunch—with menus tailored to your vision.
The Entire Property
850 acres of forest, lake, and trails. Three ceremony venues. Reception spaces that seat up to 200 guests. The property closes to everyone else.
Bridal Party Suites
Grace Manor
Grace gives your party room to spread out—hair and makeup stations by the windows, natural light, and space for the dress, the champagne, and everyone who matters most. Big enough for a full party, calm enough to actually enjoy the hours before the ceremony.
Spa Lounge
A getting-ready space built for comfort. The main lounge holds a crowd—plenty of room to gather, relax, and let the morning unfold together. Just off it, the salt room works as a quiet spot for a massage or doubles as an intimate hair and makeup station. It's the space for parties who want to be pampered as much as prepared.
Frank Soule Lodge
An easy, unhurried place to gather. Frank comes with a card table, room to spread out, and zero pressure—coffee in the morning, something stronger in the afternoon, and space to pass the hours before the ceremony without anyone hovering. The relaxed counterpoint to the getting-ready bustle.
The Venue
Choose your ceremony site and reception space. Each venue offers something different—from the intimacy of the forest to the grandeur of our historic hall.
The Waterfront
Exchange vows with the lake as your backdrop. Our most iconic ceremony site sits right at the water's edge—open sky, still water, and the far shoreline of forest stretching out beyond.
Guests face the lake as you say your vows. Late afternoon light off the water makes this the setting couples picture long before they arrive.
The Forest
An outdoor ceremony site framed by white pines. Simple benches, forest canopy, and a natural aisle where the only decoration is the light filtering through the trees.
Ceremonies here transition to reception spaces nearby—either Kempwick Hall or Frank Soule Lodge, depending on your weekend.
Kempwick
Our largest indoor space, Kempwick Hall seats 200 for dinner and dancing. Timber beams, a stone fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the forest create the perfect reception venue.
The Hall connects to the Lounge and Bar—spaces for cocktail hour, late-night conversations, or morning-after breakfast.
Lodging
Your guests stay on property in a mix of guest rooms and cabins. Accommodations range from private suites to shared bunk-style rooms—all part of the experience of being here together.
Large Lodges
Your closest people stay steps from the celebration. Grace and Frank are our two largest lodges, [9 and 7 rooms], built for the wedding party, family, and everyone who wants to be in the thick of it. Wake up to coffee on the porch, walk to breakfast together, and let the weekend unfold without anyone having to leave.
Small Lodges
For guests who want a quieter corner of the property. The Boathouse sits at the water's edge. Langston and Wohlleben tuck into the forest. Smaller and more private, these are the rooms for early risers, late sleepers, and anyone who likes to slip away and find the quiet that 8; 50 acres makes possible.
Suites Coming Soon
We're building something new. The Suites — opening Late 2026. Designed for couples and families who want all the comfort and advantage of staying at Vanderkamp with a lower price point. Ask us about reserving them for your weekend.

Can we have more than 75 overnight guests?

75 is our on-property lodging capacity. Additional guests are welcome for the ceremony and reception and we can help arrange a shuttle to additional lodging in the area.
Do you allow outside catering?

No. Our culinary team prepares all meals for wedding weekends. We work with you to design menus that fit your vision
When should we book?

Peak summer and fall weekends book 12-18 months out. Spring and weekday dates have more availability. Schedule a tour to check specific dates.
Is Vanderkamp available year-round?

Yes. We host weddings in all seasons. Winter weddings have access to cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing; summer weddings have lake access and outdoor ceremony options.
