  • “We really enjoyed our time at Vanderkamp. Everything was beautiful, new, and very clean. There was plenty of space and privacy for everyone but also large common areas that allowed for catching up, cooking, and eating together. The kitchen was well stocked. It was lovely to be able to hike on the grounds and the kids enjoyed the simple pleasures of throwing pebbles into the partially frozen lake. The staff was helpful and responsive. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Definitely recommend!”

  • "We loved our stay! We stayed for three nights and adored every moment. Comfortable bed, a well-stocked kitchen, and a shower to dream of! There is another house to the side of the boathouse. But still, trees mostly cover the land between both, and it's far enough to feel like you are alone. We would stay here again!"

  • “Stayed here for a low-key, lake hang bachelorette party and the Frank Soule Lodge was perfect! Many bedrooms to accommodate for a larger party, a beautiful kitchen and dining room for group dinners, and of course, great views of the lake made for a wonderful weekend. The folks at Vanderkamp couldn't have been kinder and were very responsive when we needed to get in touch with them for a couple of things. 10/10, would recommend and would absolutely come back!”

  • "This has to be the most perfect spot for a back-to-nature getaway. The Boathouse is stylishly renovated and has everything for modern living. You can get on with living the natural life but the VK Staff are on hand if you need anything. It's great value and well worth a visit for a wind-down. The lake is the jewel in the crown.

  • "Amazing!! This could not have been better! It is every bit as quaint as the photos, and more! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, the staff was responsive but left us alone, and the scenery was incredible! We cannot wait to go back!!"
